Communicate with Greater Range and Confidence

A1.2 expands the beginner language developed in A1.1 and gives learners more opportunities to manage connected service situations with less support.

Extended Role Plays

Connect several stages of a guest interaction, ask follow-up questions, confirm details, and keep simple exchanges moving.

Practical Problem Solving

Understand common needs, clarify simple issues, offer basic alternatives, and respond courteously within beginner ability.

Integrated Final Scenario

Bring the module together through a guided tourism or hospitality task combining information, recommendations, and service support.

A1.2 professional-context outcomes

Handle More Connected Visitor Interactions

By the end of the module, learners should be increasingly able to:

  • Confirm and update simple booking, schedule, and contact information.
  • Explain basic facilities, services, options, and everyday procedures.
  • Give directions and make straightforward recommendations based on visitor preferences.
  • Manage simple food, beverage, shopping, and transport exchanges.
  • Understand common service requests and respond with basic help or alternatives.
  • Use beginner communication strategies when information is unclear or incomplete.

A1.1 and A1.2 together form the school’s 60-hour Tourism A1 pathway. This beginner programme strengthens practical communication but does not promise full professional fluency.
