How SIELE Scoring Works

SIELE Global provides a score for each test, with a maximum of 250 points per skill, and a total result from 0 to 1000.

The certificate relates each score to CEFR levels from A1 to C1 and describes what the candidate can do in the skills assessed.

There is no universal pass mark. The institution receiving the result may define its own required score or level.

Validity: SIELE certificates and independent-modality reports are valid for five years.

DELE MAY FIT WHEN

You Need a Permanent Diploma

Consider DELE when a permanent diploma for one specified level is required. DELE covers A1-C2, has indefinite validity, and follows official examination sessions.

Is SIELE an official Spanish certification?

Yes. It is promoted by the Instituto Cervantes, UNAM, the University of Salamanca, and the University of Buenos Aires.

Is SIELE pass or fail?

No. SIELE reports numerical scores and CEFR correspondence. A receiving organisation may set its own minimum requirement.

Which levels does SIELE cover?

SIELE reports results connected to CEFR levels from A1 to C1.

How long is SIELE valid?
